Duane Muller is the Assistant Director and Government Liaison for the Sustainable LA Grand Challenge, a university-wide initiative launched in 2013 aimed at applying UCLA research, expertise and education to help transform Los Angeles into the world's most sustainable megacity by 2050.
Peter Hidalgo brings over 25 years of experience leading public affairs and communications teams across both public and private sectors. Early in his career, he served as press secretary for former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, gaining invaluable experience in navigating complex policy and community issues.
Chris Parker is CEO/co-owner of Pacific Crest Consultants and has been an entitlement consultant for hundreds of projects throughout Los Angeles in 20 years at PCC. His focus has been on planning & zoning issues and every year he manages the permitting and entitlements for scores of multi-million-dollar projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use and industrial). Chris is active in his community and was the founding member of the first independent public charter school in Ventura County. He served on the board of the charter school for seven years, including six as its president. A graduate of California State University Northridge, Chris also has an MBA from California Lutheran University.

Hank Nelken is an entrepreneur, screenwriter, filmmaker, and educator best known for writing Saving Silverman, Mama’s Boy, and Are We Done Yet?. Raised in Dallas and a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, his work blends broad humor with emotional truth, often exploring identity, awkwardness, and human connection. Hank has taught screenwriting at UCLA Extension. He also owns and operates Half Price Laundromat in Los Angeles, combining his creative instincts with community entrepreneurship. He lives in the San Fernando Valley with his family.
