VICA’s monthly advocacy trips to the State Capitol play a vital role in ensuring the voice of the business community is heard by legislators. These visits provide members with the opportunity to meet directly with lawmakers, share real-world perspectives, and advocate for policies that impact our region and economy.

In addition to monthly visits, VICA participates in an annual two-day advocacy trip alongside fellow business organizations, strengthening our collective voice in Sacramento. Member participation is essential, as your insights help shape meaningful dialogue with elected officials.

Each spring, VICA joins business and civic leaders for Access D.C., the region’s premier advocacy trip to Washington, D.C.. This annual visit brings together more than 200 leaders to meet with members of Congress and senior Administration officials and advocate for priorities impacting Southern California.

Members who register through VICA receive exclusive access to additional meetings, hosted lunches, and the opportunity to join the VICA delegation dinner (additional fee applies).
