  • Membership Manager – Position Opening

    Job Description:The Membership Manager is an “at-will” salaried and commissioned sales position. The Membership Manager shall be responsible for recruiting new members, re-selling dropped (canceled) members, retaining and servicing existing members, selling sponsorships and advertising, and performing other lawful activities related to the organization’s business, all as prescribed by the President/CEO and/or the Vice President from time-to-time.

    Detailed Responsibilities and Expectations:

    • Selling new memberships
    • Re-selling memberships to dropped (canceled) members
    • Maintaining excellence in customer service for increased member retention
    • Servicing existing members he/she has enrolled by performing all retention responsibilities outlined in the organization’s “retention program”
    • Prospecting for new members by identifying and qualifying new leads
    • Conducting both field and telephone presentations to prospective new members
    • Setting goals weekly with the President/CEO
    • Selling memberships in accordance with the organization’s “investment structure”, unless otherwise approved in advance by the President/CEO or the Vice President
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date prospect lists and submitting accurate and complete reports to the President/CEO and Vice President on a weekly basis1
    • Attending all events sponsored by the organization (unless excused in advance by the President/CEO or the Vice President)
    • Coordinating the organization’s monthly membership committee meetings
    • Facilitating the participation and networking of the members of the organization’s membership committee and the members to which he/she sells or renews memberships
    • Following up on the needs and service requests of all members to which he/she sells or renews memberships

    Salary Range: The Membership Manager shall receive an annual base salary of $45,760 yearly and commissions of up to 30%.
