    Jessica provides strategic leadership across VICA, overseeing the organization's financial management, operational excellence, and long-term planning. She works closely with VICA's leadership team to guide the association's growth, support staff, and ensure members continue to receive exceptional programs, events, and advocacy.

    Graduate of Wilder High School (Idaho) and California State University, Northridge, with a bachelor's degree in Asian American Studies and a minor in Political Science

    Grew up in: Wilder, Idaho, and Shizuoka, Japan

    As VICA's Director of Operations, Cathy oversees the organization's daily operations, strategic communications, marketing initiatives, and digital presence. She leads the planning and execution of VICA's events, develops marketing and promotional materials, manages website content and design, and drives operational initiatives that enhance member engagement while ensuring VICA delivers exceptional service to its members, partners, and stakeholders.

She is passionate about connecting businesses with opportunities to engage, advocate, and make a lasting impact while ensuring every member receives exceptional value and service.

    Mikayla leads VICA's legislative affairs efforts, advancing the organization's advocacy priorities through policy analysis, strategic communications, and government relations. She monitors legislation, ordinances, and ballot measures affecting the business community while developing advocacy materials, position letters, committee briefings, and action alerts that keep VICA members informed, engaged, and represented throughout the policymaking process.

    Sophie Gardiner, Legislative Affairs Associate Sophie Gardiner, Legislative Affairs Associate

    Sophie supports VICA's advocacy efforts by researching legislation, tracking public policy developments, and assisting with legislative communications and committee initiatives. She helps prepare policy materials, supports government affairs events and meetings, and works alongside VICA's Legislative Affairs team to keep members informed and engaged on issues impacting the business community.
