    Event Description:
Its time once again for Mid Valley's Cops & Cowboys! Don't miss all the fun at our annual Hoedown to raise funds for the Van Nuys / Sherman Oaks LAPD station. Don your cowboy hat and head out to the Leonis Adobe Museum for a great night of fun - a throwback to yesteryear - check out the museums, the farm, play poker & blackjack with the Dealer Dolls in the barn, dance to the Mary White Band, sidle up to Sherman's Saloon or Straussner's Watering Hole for a beverage, enjoy a 'cooked on site' BBQ. HOSTED once again by the amazing Wendy Burch of KTLA — we're gonna have a great time! 2025 Gold Star Award honorees: • Deputy Chief Marla Ciuffetelli, a 27-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, currently overseeing the Valley Bureau, the largest command within the Department. • Nathan Fillion, star and Executive Producer of ABC’s police drama “The Rookie” and DC Comic superhero Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, among others, along with Alexi Hawley, creator and showrunner of the series. The show, which debuted in 2018, is based on a real-life LAPD officer who moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and joined the department in his mid-40s.
