Name: Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Foundation: Steppin' Out 2017 "Celebration of Hope"
    Date: October 14, 2017
    Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM PDT
    Event Description:
Please join us on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Westlake Village for Northridge Hospital Foundation's Steppin’ Out "Celebration of Hope". Kristine Lazar, CBS 2 and KCAL 9 News Reporter will serve as our Master of Ceremonies with an exciting evening planned with Entertainment and Dancing to Stayin Alive, the Premier Bee Gee's Tribute Band. Last year, our Foundation’s gala was attended by 530 people and raised over $386,000 for the expansion of the chemotherapy infusion room, Center for Assault Treatment Services (C·A·T·S), and the expansion and remodel of the Emergency & Trauma Departments. We would not have been able to serve our community for the past 61 years without the loyal and generous support of our community businesses and leaders. Please help us honor this year’s awardees: Kim Belshé, Executive Director of First 5 LA, with the “Celebration of Hope” Award! We are privileged to recognize and honor this amazing woman for her dedication to helping children of our community to succeed in school. Also being recognized, with the “Grace Leland Physician Appreciation” Award is Asher Taban, MD. In his many years of service to the Northridge Community, he has been one of the earliest supporters of the Neuro Trauma Center at Northridge Hospital Medical Center (NHMC) and was instrumental in its development and, in the 1980’s and 1990’s, was the only neurosurgeon supporting it.
