The Center for Assault Treatment Services (C·A·T·S) a program of Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center has been serving the area since August 1997. C·A·T·S is available 24-hours, 7-days-per-week. The only member of the “Sexual Assault Response Team and Domestic Assault Response Team in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys that provides forensic interviews and medical examinations. We provide the highest level of evidence collection services. C·A·T·S staff receive advanced training as Forensic Nurse Examiners for adult and child interviews. We are dedicated to treating children and adults affected by violence. Since 1997 CATS has provided services to over 14,700 child and adult victims of sexual and domestic violence free of charge to all victims. The 15th Annual "Victory for Victims Run/Walk" serves as C·A·T·S’ primary fundraiser. Local businesses have provided support to C·A·T·S and Victory for Victims by serving as event sponsors, and forming teams to support this important community event. The event consists of a 10K River Run, 5K Walk/Run, and Kids Fun Run. This annual fund raiser allows CATS to continue to provide services free of charge to victims because 100% of the proceeds from this event goes to support CATS services.
