It is my pleasure and honor to serve as Chairman of the Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA). For nearly 60 years, VICA has given Valley businesses a voice at all levels of government.

As a small business owner, I have seen firsthand many times how important VICA is in strengthening our business climate and creating jobs. I continue to be amazed at how many doors VICA has opened for its members at the State Capitol, L.A. City Hall, on Capitol Hill—and beyond—as we present a balanced but aggressive pro-business perspective to public officials.

I am committed to growing and enriching VICA’s already strong membership, which represents almost a half-million Valley jobs. I will also strive to open dialogue between the business community, labor and neighborhood councils; so that we can all achieve our common goal of improving quality of life for Valley residents.

Please share your concerns with VICA so that we know exactly what is on the minds of Valley employers. This will help us reinforce your message when we represent you and our legislative positions to officeholders.
